Our experienced sales team is happy to discuss your packaging requirements
Adfoam has been problem solving for 53 years and we like to think we have stood the test of time because of our core integrities. These core integrities have been fundamental when it comes to leading our customer service as well as the high-quality products we create. Courtesy, respect and positivity are values so integral to our operations, that we could almost overlook them as being one of our assets, yet we value them highly, setting out each day to make our space in existence a better place.
Included in what else makes us tick, is our ability to see each individual as being unique. This applies not only to our customers but also to our team. Seeing their unique qualities and skills allows us to position them to be able to facilitate the best service to our customers.
Our vision is to become the leading custom-made packaging problem solver in Australia and the Pacific region.
Our mission is to consistently deliver viable solutions that meet product intention and environmental expectations while being customer-centric in our approach.
When it comes to service, we pride ourselves on delivering the best assistance to help you package your professional or emotionally valuable items in the most suitable way to keep them safe. Over the years we’ve encountered many uniquely interesting challenges to do just that. It is not uncommon for us to develop a prototype and rigorously test it, to see if it is fit for purpose. Tweaking and adjusting, until we have developed the custom-made solution for each client.
From intake and measuring to producing and fitting we have assisted in packing everything from heavy-duty machinery to state of the art professional equipment, to the smallest, yet highly sensitive, instruments. Each with its own specific set of requirements.
And sometimes a multitude of requirements. Such as when a documentary team not only has to keep their camera equipment safe from the elements, they also have a need for shock absorption as they bounce over rugged terrain. Plus still keeping in mind that everything needs to be lightweight and easy to handle during travel, and be readily and easily accessible for use. Combined, forming complex issues that, like many others, we are passionate about solving.
When it comes to service, we pride ourselves on delivering the best assistance to help you package your professional or emotionally valuable objects in the most suitable way to keep them safe. Since 1969 when man first put his foot on the moon, Adfoam found their first customer and put a sign on their building in Brookvale, Sydney.
For over 15 years Adfoam made 3 dimensional signs, various promotional displays for the advertising industry and supplied sheets of polystyrene foam to the building industry. We made props and sets for TV shows, and commercials, displays and signage for David Jones stores and the advertising industry.
In 1982 we sold the sign and display part of the business to specialise in packaging and foam recycling. At this time we operated from two factories in Brookvale but needed more space, so we branched out to Gosford, 80km from Brookvale. Unfortunately that proved too challenging for the fast turnaround of prototypes.
In 1994 we moved to Rhodes, where we were based for another 8 years. However the market for polystyrene foam was contracting, so we decided to specialise in Polyethylene foam, selling our EPS business to one of our suppliers and moving our down-sized operation to Greenacre.
For more than 18 years we successfully supplied packaging and protective packaging for electronic and medical companies, government instrumentalities - both state and federal - and the marketing and advertising industries, from our location in Greenacre.
Then Covid struck.
To ensure longevity in challenging times and to strengthen our operation, we have now joined forces with ENMORE BOX & CASE FACTORY, a company in business for 110 years in Peakhurst, Sydney. Together, from Adfoam's new location in Peakhurst, we can offer the ultimate packaging solutions to both our customer bases.
As we look to the future, the areas of our business that we wish to grow and develop are in recycled and reusable protective packaging and sustainable living. Rising to not only facilitate our customer’s need for specialised, custom-made packaging solutions, but to do so to standards that better align with protecting our environment. we’ve encountered many uniquely interesting challenges to do just that.
