Flexible Polyurethane
This foam is 97% air, 3% plastic and contains only carbon, nitrogen and hydrogen molecules.
Main use in bedding and upholstering. It is ideal for packaging electronic goods and computers when very low levels of shock (less than 40 G’s) are required.
We can supply you with a shock absorbing Polyurethane foam pad that you can either glue onto a die-cut cardboard carrier or fabricated end piece to act as a product buffer.
Technically it falls into the flexible thermoset foam group.
Recycling by shredding into crumb and bonded into sheet for carpet underlay. Contact us if you would like any other technical information.
